In this video, we’re going to cover Adderall. What does Adderall do, and are there Adderall alternatives?

What is Adderall?
Adderall is a central nervous system stimulant used for ADHD and narcolepsy.

So, is Adderall bad for you? Well, here are some Adderall side effects:

• Insomnia 
• Dry mouth
• Loss of appetite 
• High/low blood pressure 
• Raynauds
• Increased heart rate
• Erectile dysfunction
• Abdominal pain
• Constipation
• Nose bleeds 
• Tics
• Loss of bladder control
 
High doses of Adderall can even put you in a coma or cause death. 

Your brain is highly sensitive to nutrition and the fuel you put in it. The number one most dangerous vitamin deficiency for the brain is low vitamin B1. A vitamin B1 deficiency can be caused by high carbohydrate diets. 

Here are some natural alternatives that I think could greatly help you: 

1. Start taking B1 in the form of nutritional yeast and drop your carbs 
2. Get more DHA from sources like shellfish and fish
3. Get more zinc from shellfish, supplements, seaweed, or sea kelp 
4. Intermittent fasting
5. Take MCT oil
6. Lion’s mane (mushroom)
*Vitamin D and K2 are also very important for mental health
